Free Income Tax Preparation Available

IRS-certified student volunteers will prepare and e-file taxes FREE for people whose income falls below $52,000. Volunteers will be available at the Wyoming branch of the Kent County Library beginning the week of January 31 through April 11 on Tuesdays from 2:00 - 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM -1:00 PM.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., April 8, 2014 – IRS certified tax preparers and accounting students from Aquinas College, Davenport University and Cornerstone University will be joined by community volunteers to provide free tax preparation for people with incomes under $57,000 on April 12, 14 and 15.  Every year, millions of dollars in tax refunds and credits go unclaimed by those who need them the most.
