Public meeting at Cascade Library about M-11 (28th Street) project

WHAT: Public open house to review plans for the reconstruction and resurfacing of M-11 through Grand Rapids, Kentwood and Cascade Township. Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) officials will provide project details, the construction schedule and traffic information. The public will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the project.

WHO:  MDOT staff, Residents and interested stakeholders                                   

WHEN: Wednesday, March 6, 2013, 5:00pm to 6:30 p.m.
 

WHERE: Cascade Public Library – Wisner Center, 2870 Jacksmith Ave., SE,   Grand Rapids

PROJECT:  Starting in mid-March, M-11 will be resurfaced from Breton Avenue east to Patterson Avenue, and reconstructed from Patterson Avenue east to I-96. Work also includes the addition of a right-turn lane, new sidewalk, lighting and traffic signal upgrades.
