UPDATE (Tuesday 2 p.m.)-- Grand Rapids police are releasing the name of the woman who was killed late Friday night.

Officers say Roybin Lyn Griggs-Johnson, 47, died from a gunshot wound.  Her nephew tells WZZM 13 News that the family has set up a  memorial fund in her name.  Donations can be made at any Fifth Third Bank branch.

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)-Grand Rapids police are investigating a homicide on the city's southeast side.

Shortly before midnight Friday, officers were called to a home in the 700 block of Prince St. SE. There, they found the body of a woman who apparently died from a gunshot wound.

Officers are withholding the victim's name until they contact her family. So far, no arrests have been made.
