GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) -- Police suspect Demario Antwan Chandler, 30, is the shooter in an April homicide on Grand Rapids' Southwest Side.

German Antonio Rodriguez-Duarte, 34, was found laying between houses early in the morning of Saturday, April 18, in the 500 block of Hall Street SW, near Caufield Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a news release published Wednesday afternoon, Grand Rapids police say Chandler will be brought back to Grand Rapids for arraignment on Rodriguez-Duarte's death.
