GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) -- Nutrition is key to leading a healthy lifestyle and it's never too early to start learning the basics.

The Grand Rapids Public Library's EatPlayGrow series helps parents teach their kids the importance of good nutrition.

EatPlayGrow combines the latest science and research to teach children,ages 2-5, and their parents how to make healthy nutrition and physical activity choices.

The workshop incorporates art-making, storytelling, music and movement activities into fun, hands-on educational lessons about the importance of making positive choices in areas that most affect health: nutrition, physical activity, and sleep.

The next class is Saturday, November 28 from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the Seymour Branch at 2350 Eastern SE in Grand Rapids.
