GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) -- Police are trying to figure out who fired shots on the city's southwest side during an investigation into a disturbance.

Police were called out late Tuesday night to Dickinson Street just east of Buchanan Avenue on that disturbance call. They have not yet released any details on the disturbance.

During the police investigation, shots were fired on Dickinson Street near the corner of Feakin Avenue. It's not clear who those shots were fired at, if anyone. No one has been reported injured, and the police department said Wednesday it appears the shots were not targeting police.

Grand Rapids police have talked to witnesses to try and figure out what happened.
