GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—Find out more about the summer construction project planned for Burton Street during a neighborhood meeting hosted by the City of Grand Rapids this Wednesday, April 30.

The city plans to resurface Burton from Plymouth Avenue to Breton Avenue this summer.  The work will include replacing the top layer of asphalt and adding sidewalk ramps. The project is tentatively set to begin in July, with work wrapping up in October.

Community members are encouraged to learn more as well as share their views during a neighborhood meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.  The forum will take place at Ottawa Hills High School, 2055 Rosewood Ave.  People who cannot attend the meeting and have questions or concerns about the work can contact Brees Stam, senior project engineer at (616) 456-3078 or bstam@grcity.us .
