GPNA - How to report graffiti

From the Garfield ark Neighborhood Association Facebook page:

If you ride around our area, you may see evidence of an increase in graffiti vandalism on private property, City property and businesses. Please take it upon yourself to assist in the removal of all of this type of mischief in our neighborhood.

Call 456-3666. This is the City of Grand Rapid’s 24 hour Graffiti Hotline. Provide as much information as possible (i.e. address, type of structure (wood, cement or brick), color of paint needed to cover graffiti.

Another option is to call the office that addresses graffiti within the City at 456-3232.

You can also go online to the City’s 311 Program: http://grcity.spotreporters.com/reports/list_services. Click on “Submit Report” and then click on “Graffiti” on the new page. Then proceed to complete the needed information, photos can be attached.

GPNA will be planning Graffiti Clean-up days when the weather improves. We will let you know when these are scheduled. We will target areas where the graffiti is particularly heavy for these events. Please keep GPNA informed if you have areas that you think should be part of the Graffiti Clean-up project. We will need lots of volunteers for this! Call GPNA at 241-2443 to volunteer and/or suggest target locations.
