The Wyoming Community Enrichment Commission (WCEC) has unveiled the lineup for its popular series, Concerts in the Park presented by Kentwood Community Church.  The schedule includes a variety of family-friendly performances from a diverse lineup of entertainers.  The ten-week concert series kicks off with a special Kids Night concert and closes out the season with the Music & More Fest.  The shows take place at Lamar Park (2561 Porter Street SW, Wyoming, Michigan) on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

SCHEDULED PERFORMANCES:

June 2:           Deep Fried Pickle Project - FIRST Day, brought to you by Grand Rapids First Church, will feature kid's themed music, activities, and FREE chili dogs to everyone in attendance!

June 9:           Orquestra Ritmo - One of Michigan's top orchestras performing a fusion of Mexican/Salsa/Cuban rhythms.

June 16:          Brena - A young, lively quartet performing Modern Pop, Rock, and Alternative from the 90's to now.

June 23:         Mid-Life Crisis - Playing popular tunes from the 60's through the 80's, this band has tremendous harmonies and musicianship and are among West Michigan’s most popular performers.

June 30:         Opener - Mark Sala Band - A singer/songwriter style performing blues and light rock. 

Headliner - Hark Up! Patriotic Choir - The most popular ensemble group in West MI performs a special patriotic tribute.

Wyoming’s only FIREWORKS show to follow!

July 7:             Harpeth Rising - This trio tours across the US and in Britain and WCEC is proud to bring them to West Michigan for an exclusive show. They blend Folk, Bluegrass, and Americana.

July 14:          Carl Webb Band - Eclectic blend of Rock, Blues, and Country

July 21:          The Us Band featuring Pat Benatar and the Women of Rock – This tribute band showcases the music of rock icons such as Stevie Nicks, Heart, Joan Jett.

July 28:          Kari Holmes and the Modern Day Drifters - A high-energy, modern country act with a variety of catchy, original tunes.

August 4:       National Night Out Celebration featuring The Soul Syndicate - a seven piece band of top musicians performing Motown Rhythm, Blues, R&B

August 8:       Music & More Fest – Two bands, games and activities and an outdoor movie experience 

Opener - Matt Gabriel - accomplished singer/songwriter playing Folk, Blues, and Rock n Roll.  

Headliner - Michatucky - a full-throttle, lively band performing excellent mixes of Southern Rock, Country, and Country Legend songs.
