My Town EGR: Gaslight Village poised to add new business

EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—New plans are in place for a vacant storefront in East Grand Rapids’ Gaslight Village.

Tobi Tungl with the Gaslight Village Business Association says the space that was once home to Hot Mama has been leased.  He says the association expects to formally announce the new tenant in early 2015.  Tungl says the former home of Lululemon Athletica remains vacant, but there are a few interested parties.

Both Lululemon Athletica and Hot Mama moved out of Gaslight Village to take advantage of larger and more permanent locations at Breton Village Mall.  Hot Mama also changed its name to Evereve in August.
