GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.— A group of "super heroes" traded in their capes for children’s books this week to promote literacy during March is Reading Month.

The heroes were the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and other relatives of Vista Charter Academy students.  They visited classrooms Tuesday morning to read to children for the school’s Super Hero Read-In.

Vista Charter Academy, operated by National Heritage Academies, is a free public charter school serving students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
