Fun and frugal things to do with kids this week!

There is a WHOLE lot going on this week in Grand Rapids! Hopefully the kids aren't too tired from being back at school to enjoy some of the fun around town.  If they need a little down time, the Flick’s Family Film Festival continues.  Kids are free, just pay a few bucks for anyone over 12.

If they're ready to party, take them to Celebration on the Grand.  There is great stuff all weekend; be sure to check out the special kids events Saturday afternoon.  There is also the Hispanic Festival going on too.

If you're more in the mood for live theater, September 10-19 Blues Clues LIVE! comes to town. Not a frugal event – but look for buy one get one coupons in the Entertainment Book.  You have to buy tickets at the box office that way, but still. Steve for half price! Or Joe. But hopefully Steve.  He was way better.

September 11 is the longtime running Garfield Park Arts and Crafts Fair These are my stomping grounds! Come EARLY to get a parking spot.  Then, walk around the neighborhood because there are always a million garage sales.
